Governance

Farm Safety Nova Scotia is governed by a seven person Board of Directors. Six of the directors are elected from the membership, while the seventh is an appointed position from the Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture (NSFA) Executive Committee. The members of Farm Safety Nova Scotia are the registered farm members of the Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture. Services provided by FSNS are available to all registered farms in the province.

FSNS is administered with the support of the NSFA. FSNS and the NSFA have a service agreement, which outlines the relationship between the two organizations.
