Building a Farm Safety Plan: Focus on Section 2

The Guide for the Farm Safety Plan is now complete with Workbook templates. Information will be available in class as a hard copy, on USB, or can be downloaded from the Farm Safety Nova Scotia Website. This workshop gives you the opportunity to focus on the requirements of Section 2 and put it into practice. Bring policies you have started for review and any questions for establishing policies and suggestions and start building your Farm Safety Plan. Topics include OHS duties & responsibilities, workers’ rights, building Health and Safety Policies, and communication. Health and Safety Committee/Representative will be held as a separate workshop.
