Cropping season is underway. As farmers you are back on the roads commuting to and from fields. Despite the rush to get things in the ground, between equipment and safe practices you can only travel so fast. As farmers, it is also common to feel the wrath of the public’s frustration towards any disturbances caused during their commutes. As we all know, safety is a two- way street. While we continue to make efforts in helping the public gain a better understanding of the importance of road safety regarding farm equipment, we also ask each and every farmer to reflect on things you as the equipment operator can do to make the roads a safer place for all.
