Farm Safety Nova Scotia presents Progressive Agriculture Safety days to provide the opportunity for children, youth, and families to learn about farm safety through hands-on activities.

Supported by the Progressive Agriculture Safety Foundation, these workshop style days are held in the spring and fall, and usually scheduled on a school in-service day in the host region.

Groups of participants rotate through a series of stations, led by experienced presenters, completing safety related activities. Lunch, snacks and drinks are provided. Each participant goes home with increased safety knowledge, a t-shirt and a take home bag of goodies and resources.
