How to Access CSA Standards Referenced in OHS Legislation! Webinar

October 15, 2020 @ 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

Have you noticed that when browsing through the Nova Scotia Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act and Regulations, there is reference to the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) or CSA Group for Portable Ladders, Protective Footwear, Eye and Face Protectors, High Visibility, Fall Protection, Chainsaws, Roll Over Protective Structures for Agriculture (ROPS), etc…
When a CSA Standard is referenced in the OHS Act or Regulations, it means the employer must follow the standard. They are free to view on the CSA Communities website. Not sure how to find and navigate the site, join Lori Brookhouse, the Farm Safety Advisor to learn how to access and navigate the CSA Communities website.
