Building a Farm Safety Plan: Focus on Section 4

The Guide for the Farm Safety Plan is now complete with Workbook templates. Information is available as a hard copy, on USB, or can be downloaded off the Farm Safety Nova Scotia Website. This workshop gives you the opportunity to focus on the requirements of Section 4 and put it into practice. Bring policies and templates you have started for review and any questions for drafting policies and templates and start building your Farm Safety Plan. Topics include a close look at the 4 types of hazard controls, safety orientations for new and returning workers, training, and developing safe work practices and safe job procedures.
